Freshly hatched Artemia nauplii are a high quality feed for smaller aquarium fish, ornamental shrimp, and corals. As simple as the breeding of Artemia cyst seems ‐ sometimes it can go wrong and none or just a few nauplii will hatch. In many cases the reasons are not clear. Low egg quality or storing them for too long are often assumed as the reason. Through cooperation with many customers and our own experience in aquaculture, we found out, that above all: salt is not always the same! It is possible for salt to have no influence at all, but also to significantly reduce the hatching rate. For example, by using common salt the pH can be reduced drastically, especially when using reverse osmosis (RO) water. If, on the other hand, high‐quality sea salt mixtures are used, no matter how expensive, hatching may be significantly reduced by metal compounds contained therein. This is due to the fact that Artemia originally stems from salt lakes with simple salt composition, not from coral reefs. Based on our experience and intensive research we have developed a pure and very well working Artemia salt. It has the following advantages:

Feeding Recommendation
Use 30 grams per 1 l of breeding batch. We recommend the use of reverse osmosis (RO) water or tapwater. Both need to be boiled and cooled down to at least 25 °C before use.

Das Salz ist sehr gut!
Es wurde gut verpackt geliefert. Ich habe das Salz getestet mit meiner Aufzucht schale mit anderen Eiern und es sind eindeutige mehr geschlüpft.
