INNOVATIVE We have come a long way to find the perfect Artemia eggs. After years of research and collaboration with German fish and shrimp farmers, we developed ArtemiaVita. ArtemiaVita is produced by us in Germany under strictly controlled conditions. We produce shell-free Artemia eggs, which are preserved by us in a natural salt solution.

MAXIMUM HAPPING RATE UP TO 99% Thanks to the thorough production process and advanced quality management, we achieve a high hatching rate of 95 to 99%. The eggs are sterilized and completely free of impurities, resulting in a yield of >4 million nauplii per liter of ArtemiaVita. Hatching instructions and dosing cap are included and shipping is refrigerated. Therefore we can give you a hatching guarantee on our eggs!

 INSPIRED BY NATURE Artemia Salt is a product of algova research. Thanks to our years of experience in hatching different species of Artemia, we have developed a pure and very effective Artemia salt. The composition of the salt is based on the natural environment of Artemia. In addition, our salt is free from unwanted metal ions, technical additives, anti-caking agents, separating agents and stabilizers.

 OPTIMAL pH Our salt has an optimal pH of 8.2 to 8.4, which allows for a high hatching rate and stable culture of nauplii. No further pH buffer is required during incubation. The salt is suitable for any water, whether tap water, distilled water, demineralized water or osmosis water.

 PROBiotics contained in Rotibomb remove zooplankton waste products such as ammonium, nitrite and nitrate. This stabilizes the culture and allows high plankton density to be achieved. In addition, certain probiotic bacteria in RotiBomb inhibit the growth of harmful Vibrio bacteria. This reduces the risk of pathogens being transmitted to fish and shrimp through the live food.

Feeding recommendation ArtemiaVita:

Artemia eggs can be used in hobby aquaristics as well as in professional aquaculture. All batches of Artemia eggs from algova are checked internally. Before use, please shake vigorously and bring the eggs into suspension. Add 5ml of thoroughly mixed solution per 1 liter of hatchery stock. For maximum hatching success we recommend conical containers with strong aeration. Rearing trays with passive incubation are unsuitable for decapsulated eggs.

Feeding recommendation Salt:

Dose 30 grams per 1 liter of brood stock. As starting water we recommend reverse osmosis water or tap water. Please boil both before use and let them cool down to at least 25°C.

Feeding recommendation Rotibomb:

Recommended not to exceed a dosage of 1 g per liter and to re-dose every 1-2 days when the plankton solution brightens. When used in coral aquariums, a dosage of 1g per 100l is recommended every 3 days.
