Spirulina Pellets for Shrimps Catfish Koi Fish Food Feed Supplement Horse Dog

High-quality Spirulina powder pressed as practical pellets. The big advantage of spirulina pellets is their effective application on fish, shrimps, horses and dogs. When used in an aquarium, the problem is that spirulina powder dissolves relatively quickly in the water. This makes it difficult for herbivorous fish to absorb it and on the other hand it is partly removed from the tank by water filtration. When used in pellet form, spirulina algae remain available for shrimps and fish for a long time. So it is no longer necessary to produce algae covered stones yourself, but can feed spirulina directly. As a high-quality supplementary feed, the pellets can also be fed directly to Koi carp, which absorb the pellets as sink feed from the bottom. When feeding horses, Spirulina pellets have the great advantage that they are much better eaten than Spirulina powder. Thus Spirulina powder is relatively dusty distributed on the horse feed, which is rejected by odor-sensitive horses, although it would be actually healthy for the animal. Spirulina pellets can also be used to supplement barf feeding for dogs. The biggest advantage is the practical and dust-free application compared to powder. So even small amounts of pellets can be dosed very well. Pellets can also be a very good alternative for odour-sensitive dogs. The microalga Spirulina contains between 60-70% protein, unsaturated fatty acids and a broad spectrum of vital minerals, trace elements and vitamins. Due to the high content of carotenoids, phycocyanin, vitamin B12 and iron, spirulina powder has a supporting effect on animal health. Spirulina has a bundle of effects. Scientific studies have shown an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect in various animal species. In fish and crustaceans it has a positive effect on growth, colouring, intestinal health and immune system.

Feeding Recommendation

Feed your fish as much as will be eaten in 30min. For horses, dogs and cats, mix the pellets with the normal staple food. One teaspoon corresponds to 5 grams and 1 pellet approx. 0.4g. We recommend the following quantities for supplementary feeding:

• Horses up to 600 kg - 40g/day
• Cats and dogs up to 10kg - 1,5g/day
• Small cats and young cats - 0,75g/day
• Medium dogs up to 30kg - 3g/day
• Large dogs up to 60kg - 6g/day
