Chlorella Powder - Feed Additive

Microalgae of the highest quality, grown in covered raceway ponds with sunlight in controlled aquaculture. The Chlorella algae are then drained and very carefully dried. This process preserves valuable ingredients such as vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids. Due to the high content of beta-1,3-glucan, Chlorella has an immunostimulatory effect on most animals. Furthermore, Chlorella contains a particularly high concentration of chlorophyll, which chelates heavy metals. The high content of vitamins, particularly biologically bound vitamin C, predestines Chlorella as high-quality enrichment feed for plankton. This is why Chlorella is used on a large scale in commercial aquaculture and larval rearing. Chlorella is also a popular BARF additive for dogs, cats, and horses.

Feeding Recommendation

Add powder to main feed. 1 teaspoon equals 3 grams.

• Full-sized horse (600 kg) 10 tsp. daily (30 g)
• Cats and dogs up to 10 kg approx. ½ tsp. daily (1.5 g)
• Small cats and kitten up to 3 kg approx. ¼ tsp. daily (0.75 g)
• Medium sized dogs up to 30 kg 1 tsp. daily (3 g)
• Large dogs up to 60 kg 1½ - 2 tsp. daily (4.5 - 6 g)
