Breeding Artemia - Breeding brine shrimp is also uncomplicated & with a very high hatching rate
As a passionate aquarist, you may have already raised your own Artemia. The freshly hatched Artemia nauplii are a high-quality live food for young fish, smaller aquarium fish, dwarf shrimp, and corals. Raising food for your own fish is also a particularly sustainable idea. However, if you have already raised Artemia yourself, you also know: There is a certain potential for problems here. In traditional hatching of Artemia cysts, eggshells often remain, which, like unhatched Artemia, pose a risk to the health of the fish. From our own experience, we know that breeding and feeding are associated with higher effort. That's why we offer you both high-quality supplements for raising Artemia and Artemia eggs in our professional online pet shop.
ArtemiaVita is a very special product in our aquaristics online shop that solves your problems with eggshells and unhatched Artemia: The eggs are decapsulated and preserved in a special saline solution. The innovative decapsulation technique guarantees a hatching rate of 95–99%. The application is extremely simple, and the shelf life of the eggs is at least 36 months in the freezer. For your fish, the Artemia offer high nutritional content and low germ load, making them the ideal food source for raising fish larvae, ornamental shrimp, corals, and more.
