SUSTAINABLE FEED

Hermetia larvae are a sustainable feed with a great future. Compared to classic protein sources, the production of insects is particularly resource and climate friendly. The larvae are fed with plant residues and are an excellent alternative to fish and soy meal. The larva of the soldier fly is a welcome change and a special treat for all insectivorous animals.

FREEZE-DRIED AND FILTERED

Thanks to a gentle and precise freeze-drying process, i.e. drying at a low temperature, many valuable ingredients such as omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins are preserved. In addition, the hermetia are intensively filtered from feed residues and substrate, so that a final product with high purity is achieved. Thanks to their low density, the dried larvae are an ideal floating food for many aquarium and garden pond fish and aquatic turtles.

RICH IN NUTRIENTS

Soldier fly larvae have a high content of nutrients, minerals, proteins and fat. The high calcium content and the ideal calcium/phosphorus ratio have a positive effect on the development of skeletal structure and bones in reptiles, small animals, koi and ornamental fish.

Feeding recommendation

• Feed several times a day as much as is eaten in a few minutes. The food floats to the top.
