Freshly hatched Artemia nauplii are a high quality feed for smaller aquarium fish, ornamental shrimp, and corals. They are mainly used for rearing fish and shrimp larvae. Although breeding of Artemia cysts is very convenient, there are some disadvantages that can reduce the survival rate of your fry: during breeding the eggshells remain. These are usually meticulously separated from the freshly hatched nauplii. However, as experience teaches, only part of the eggshells can actually be separated or the separation is not carried out at all for time reasons. The problem with leĀover eggshells is, that they serve as substrate for various germs and can cause diseases in the fish larvae. Eaten shells are indigestible and can lead to death of the fish larvae. This is why we developed ArtemiaVita. ArtemiaVita contains decapsulated Artemia eggs which are preserved in a special saline solution and therefore able to hatch. The eggs are freshly decapsulated by algova in Germany by a cutting edge process. ArtemiaVita is characterized by the following features:

Feeding Recommendation
The Artemia eggs can be used in hobby aquaristics as well as in professional aquaculture. All batches of Artemia eggs from algova are checked internally. Before use, please shake vigorously and bring the eggs into suspension. Add 5ml of thoroughly mixed solution per 1 liter of hatchery stock. For maximum hatching success we recommend conical containers with strong aeration. Rearing trays with passive incubation are unsuitable for decapsulated eggs.
Note
For maximum hatching, actively aerate and hatch ArtemiaVita in a funnel-shaped rearing set. Passive methods such as in the rearing tray are unsuitable.

Leider klappt das nicht immer, gelegenlich schlüpfen nur 20% bis 80% auch nach 36-48 Stunden.
