Only for a short time:
The ArtemiaVita breeder set - now including 25 ml copepod eggs (Acartia tonsa) for free! The nutrient bundle for demanding larvae rearing.
Copepods - the natural superfood for sensitive fish larvae
Copepods - also known as copepods - are an indispensable part of the aquatic food chain. They play a particularly important role in the breeding of demanding species such as Gramma loreto, seahorses, tuna, grouper and yellowtail kingfish: many marine fish larvae are dependent on them as their first food source in the wild.
The species Acartia tonsa impresses with its special nutrient density:
✔️ High content of polar omega-3 fatty acids (DHA, EPA, ARA)
✔️ Valuable vitamins
✔️ Natural carotenoids such as astaxanthin
The result: higher survival rates, healthy growth - without growth deformations.
In contrast to classic live food species such as Brachionus (rotifers), Artemia nauplii or Daphnia, copepods do not require any additional enrichment - they naturally provide immediately usable, high-quality nutrition for fish larvae and corals.
